I just went to the TBS site (www.tbssuperstation.com) and they usually have "back to back" epidsodes of most shows. Now it's all changed around. Example:
04:30 PM Mama's Family 05:00 PM Full House 05:30 PM Full House 06:00 PM Cosby Show 06:30 PM Roseanne 07:00 PM Friends 07:30 PM Roseanne I don't know what they're doing but this doesn't seem right-I'm always expecting a second episode at thirty minutes after the hour. |

It must have cost TBS a hell of a lot of money to get the national rights for Friends which is a very high rated show. Especially, since it's only been in syndication for three years when they got the rights. It would probably cost a hell of a lot of more money to have two episodes of Friends. But then again, it probably didin't cost that much money since Friends and TBS are owned by the same company, AOL Time Warner. Besides, shows can get boring faster if they are on more, especially back to back. I'm sure that a lot of people stopped liking M*A*S*H or liked it less after FX had it on 8 times a day (literally).

It's a good thing they don't show an episode at 7:30! Then I'd have to choose between Frasier or Friends in syndication, and I'd most likely go with Frasier. LOL I've seen every episode of Friends though, and at one point, had every episode to date on tape. I taped over them all though, because... well, they were taking up valuable space!

I'll take mine to go! |
