Since BOTH shows have a father who's a cop, BOTH shows have three children, BOTH shows have a grandparent who lives with them, BOTH main characters that are the father is Carl, BOTH have a star that would overlap the show, BOTH shows had an episode where fish get vacuumed, and BOTH shows had Thelma Hopkins and Rosetta LeNoire...why not an episode where the Kaniskis meet the Winslows?

Note: The Chief WILL be on this episode so it'll have the Season Three Cast of "Gimme a Break" and Season 3 of "Family Matters".

Cold Opening-Urkel brings back his device that can transport people in another time and place. Carl steps into the device and he sees himself in Glenlawn, California where it was 6 a.m. and Carl Kiniski sees Carl Winslow and both scream!

1st Half-Carl Winslow asks what he's doing in Carl Kiniski's house and vice-versa. Nell Harper enters in and sees the device that transported Carl Winslow, it was said that Julie Kanisky was making a device that could send you anywhere. She got the idea from Stanley Kiniski who wanted to go back to 1938 Poland before the height of WWII. Urkel then shows up after he gets transformed, Carl Winslow chases Urkel but Carl Kiniski just grounds Urkel for a stupid device...then grounds Julie for having the device, and his dad for letting that thing in the house! Then, Chief gets a call from Police Headquarters that Officer Simpson shot himself in the foot again! So Carl Winslow volunteers to help-out Chief.

2nd Half-At the Kiniski's House, Eddie Winslow tries to go out with Katie Kinski and fails as usual. Addie and Rachel give tips on how they can find Mr. Right. Laura Winslow and Samantha have a conversation about L.A. and Chicago. Estelle Winslow and Maybelle Harper talk about their lives and Grandpa goes out with Estelle. Harriette Winslow and Nell Harper talk about motherhood. Urkel and Julie brainstorm for time travel so it can be done. And Carl Winslow catches Joey for stealing a candy bar with Richie watching it all. Back at the Kiniski's house, Chief grounds Joey for stealing a candy bar, but Carl tells him to take it easy and Nell agrees. After Urkel's device is back, The Winslows go back to Chicago and remember the day they had.

Closing-Chief walks downstairs for a Midnight Snack and accidently steps into the device and now sees himself in Chicago and he yells "Julie...You're Grounded For 20 Years"!

I hope that's an okay story.
