They were high most of the time? And Aunt Esther brought it?
![]() Sorry to hear the two didn't get along; they did have good chemistry onscreen, though it was always hard to like Rollo. |

That surprising! But what's even more surprising is that Demond said he hasn't seen Nathaniel since 1977! 35 years and the year Sanford and Son went off the air! Damn!

I have a friend who says he used to hang out with Nathaniel Taylor in St. Louis, in the 80's. I asked him if Nathaniel ever told him any Sanford & Son stories. His reply was, "No, we were too busy listening to music and getting high."

Why was Demond mentioning that Nathaniel Taylor a head full of gray hair?
What is a man's hair supposed to look like at 74? Sounds like he was HIGH during this interview with that dumb a$$ comment |

Demond Wilson once made an appearance at my cousin's church a couple of years ago. He's "supposed to be a minister" but when he came up to speak the organist played the sanford and son theme song as kind of a joke. Wilson had the guy replaced and the preacher suspended him of his organ duty for a month. He's an arrogant a-hole and that's probably why Nathaniel Taylor didn't like him!

Why would anyone think that actors, who are working for a living, would have any need or reason to become friends with their co-workers? I am sure that there are those of you reading this thread that had co-workers that they haven't seen or contacted in 10 - 15 - and even 20 years or more. Is it because you hated your co-workers or is it more likely that the job you both worked at was no longer the common denominator between you and them? Job done - so is the reason for you and them spending anytime together.

True, there are LOTS of co-workers who I don't want to see until the next work day. But on the other hand, I had a good relationship and became good friends with a couple of co-workers. It happened gradually and naturally. We just bonded. And there are actors and actresses who are best friends with their co-stars, so it's possible. |
