"How to Live With Your Parents" Sets "Knots Landing" Reunion for Michelle Lee, EP Claudia Lonow (Exclusive)

ABC's midseason comedy "How to Live With Your Parents (for the Rest of Your Life)" is staging a "Knots Landing" reunion.

Michelle Lee, who starred as Karen on the long-running CBS soap, has been tapped to guest star in an upcoming episode of the comedy from showrunner Claudia Lonow, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.

Lee will guest star as an agent to Elaine's (Perkins) life coach, while "Sister Sister's" Jackee Harry and "Saturday Night Live" alum Laraine Newman will play Elaine's friends in the episode titled 'How to Help the Needy'.





The casting marks a "Knots Landing" reunion for the writer-producer who co-starred as Diana Fairgate on the soap from 1979 to 1993 before segueing to a behind-the-scenes role on series including "Accidentally on Purpose" and "The War at Home".

Sarah Chalke stars as Polly a recently divorced single mom who moves in with her outrageous parents, played by Elizabeth Perkins (Weeds) and Brad Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond).

"How to Live With Your Parents" is based on Lonow's experience living with her college-bound daughter in her parents' home for 15 years. The series premiered midseason on ABC.
