Default i love seasons 6-9!!

the facts of life is one of my all time favorites. does anybody really enjoy the last 4 season 6-9? i think these are the best seasons. i love beverly ann, she was funny. i just like when the girls are older and are in college, i wish 6-9 would hurry up and come to dvd.

No offense, but I found these seasons to be dismal, unfunny, horrendous, mundane, stupid, insulting, pathetic, and embarrassing. The characters lost dimension, the jokes grew stale, the storylines were no longer as relevant. It was fluff, pure and simple. It repulsed me.

well that is a little harsh what you said about seasons 6-9. i found the early seasons to be boring at times and sometimes even depressing, with 6-9 it got better, funnier, and beverly ann brought much needed humor to the show. with the girls grown up so did the show. some of the shows worst episodes was some from the first season and later when when jo wanted to get married to eddie,

I totally agree. Unlike most of the fans, I actually enjoyed the presence of Beverly Ann, Andy, and Pippa. I found it cute when Andy wanted to do all that hard work for Edna's Edibles and later Over Our Heads. I was truly touched when Beverly Ann wanted to adopt Andy to save him from being bounced. After Andy got adopted, he not only gained a great mom, he also got a wonderful Aunt Edna and Uncle Bruce, and two awesome cousins, Raymond and Alex. Seasons 6-9 were totally awesome, and so was season 5, the first post Eastland era.

i think season 5 was when it started getting amazing, with the girls being out of the school setting it felt like some of the big growing issues and funny moments started happening. I loved season 6 as well, but i felt like the magic that season 5 had wasn't there as much with season 6. I just really enjoyed that blair and jo were in college and that they had all of these outside world things. Some of the best bonding for the girls happened in season 5 and 6... but, with mrs. g being one of my favorite characters, i obviously wasn't as fond of the episodes without her. but if i think of those seasons as a different show, it can be pretty hilarious!

I haven't sat down and watched this show from the beginning to end since way back during it's USA Network run back around 1995-96. I am doing it now on The Hub. As a kid I always liked the 6-9 seasons the best. My taste hasn't changed much. The Hub is on Season 5 & I find myself enjoying the show more and more as the episodes progress. I think seasons 2-4 were a little more serious and tried to deal with serious issues. This helped in the ratings but for my taste I enjoy a show that's funny, that's going to make me laugh and not take itself too serious. I think that was seasons 6-9. I personally enjoyed the girls being taken out of the school setting in Eastland. They were able to add more dimension to the girl's characters. For the first time in years I will watch this show again from beginning to end and so far I am having more fun watching as the show nears the latter seasons
