i've read several announcements regarding the birth of Freddie Prinze Sr. Grandson but i cannot find where it says what they named him, does anyone know.....i am dying to know!

rocky james that breaks my heart sad enough not freddie 3 but Rocky that's a prize fighter and a flying squirrel!

I have read somewhere that Freddie Jr did not like the idea of giving their son the same name as him. When I read the article about the name given. I was thinking of how Freddie sr and Jr's love for watching boxing.

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. have finally revealed the name of their newborn son, after welcoming him in late September. But did the couple stick to tradition and give their baby boy the family moniker?
Nope. The lovebirds, who already have a 3-year-old daughter Charlotte Grace, decided to call their son Rocky James, Gellar's rep tells Us Weekly. James is also Freddie's middle name.
It's amazing how long Gellar, 35, and Prinze Jr., 36, were able to keep Rocky's name a secret.
You know what else is amazing? Gellar's post-baby body! She knows the trick to dropping those pregnancy pounds.
Congrats to the happy couple!

I can understand why he wouldn't want to name his child after himself since he had to carry around the name of a famous father who he never knew. I've always been amazed that FP2 didn't change his name, or go by a nickname to establish his own identity.
