Ralph Kramden, a NY Yankee fan? (Part 9)

(The Detroit Tigers win the ALCS, 4 games to 0, by beating the NY Yankees 8-1.)

(Ralph is all mad in the bus depot locker room with Ed.)

Ralph: "Boy, this burns me up. This burns me up. Those Yankees got swept in a series for the first time in decades. That is inexcusable. I don't care what hard luck the team had. That is inexcusable."

Ed: "Hey Ralph, give credit where credit is due to the Tigers. They are tough."

Ralph: "You don't understand this Norton. The Yankees were swept. If I was a player on that team, I wouldn't allow myself to be swept. I think that Joe Giradi is going to get fired. He has been terrible."

Ed: "With you on that team and you were a hitter, I think you might collapse when you tried running to first base."

Ralph: "Oh, you are a riot Norton. A real riot."

Ed: "What about the time he took the Yankees to the World Series?"

Ralph: "Yeah. THREE years ago. Now, I am sure that I am never going to hear the end of this from Joe Fenstablau and Garrity."

Ed: "I can just hear you and Garrity arguing all night via the windows and the cops coming to calm you two down because they would say litterally the whole building was awake by Ralph's voice."

(Ralph rolls his eyes.)

Ed: "Ralph, it just wasn't in the cards. Next year, I predict will be a better year."

Ralph: "You are right Norton. There is always next year."

(They both sing a song about the next year. After that...)

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.)

Jackie: "Thank you. GOOD NIGHT!"

(Audience cheers.)
