Default Do you remember the year you last seen this show in syndication?

To be exact for me, the last time I seen the show in syndication was the summer of 1990. Never ever seen the show on cable just local syndication. This is a show I wouldn't mind seeing on TV again even though I have the DVD's'

Antenna TV are you listening?-LOL

I last saw this on TVLand during the 2005-2006 TV Season. It aired at 11pm and in Summer 2006, it was moved to 12:30pm after 227. Then, it disappeared from the lineup. We were supposed to have a 30th Anniversary marathon of the show but they canceled it at the last minute. I guess they felt that it was so soon after 2005 when they had a kick off marathon for it.

That's probably why I didn't see it because it came on at 12:30pm while I was at work

By the time the show moved to 12:30, I had saw all the episodes of it. I was working at that time as well. I remember rushing home from campus to make sure I caught the show at 11pm. I took no phone calls either during that time, lol. I was hella upset that 227 was placed in that lunchtime timeslot.

I also have all the What's Happening DVDs as it is my favorite sitcom from the 70s. I last saw it in syndication when BET was airing it a few years ago.

I want to see What's Happening Now in syndication. All three seasons!! TVLand failed miserably when they had it. They only aired select episodes from Season 1 and I had the DVD.

Damn...maybe it was that long ago. I thought it was only about 5 or 6 years ago. I suppose it could have been 10 years ago in 2002.

Anyhow, I love What's Happening. I would like it if they started airing it again.

In 2006 I believe. Channel 46 in St. Louis aired it for a while then.

I remember seeing it on TV Land late. I believe they did a marathon for Rerun when he died too. I kind of remember them airing a What's Happening Now too, might have been a one time thing. I really can't remember

I guess I;m getting older because I clearly don't remember watching this show on TV Land

Not sure if it was because I had the DVD's already.

This board saw a newfound popularity when it was TVLand. Ditto for What's Happening Now. I also remember in 2006, we all were trashing TVLand for some of their terrible programming decisions. And I remember many were upset about no 30th Anniversary Marathon for What's Happening. They could have did a special and brought back the surviving cast members to talk about the show. Nick at Nite did something similar for A Different World and E True Hollywood Story asked all the actors of Married With Children, how would they ended their show since they had no finale.
