The Mindy Project sounds like some high school video art project. Or worse, this was a working title until they could create one, however no one could figure out what to call the show, so they kept it as "The Mindy Project".

I have not seen it. Is it any good? Seems like a show about a girl looking for romance, which is not my type of show. Besides, it seems of a Kelly Kapoor has her own series. Kelly was good for a few minutes, but can she carry a whole show?

Kelly Kapoor (The Office) and Dr. Mindy Lahari (Mindy Project) are nothing alike. Mindy's charachter Dr. Lahari is an OBGYN doctor. The show revolves around her friends and collegues in the office. It is a good and funny show.

It feels like the same character to me, sounds just like she did on the Office and looking for love just like on the Office. It seems like kelly with a new life and living in another city

Kelly Kapoor is not smart enough to earn a medical license.

It doesn't seem much like the same character to me. Mindy is intelligent and Kelly was a total flake.

I noticed that her voice sounded the same on this show as the previous show also.

Yes, the voice is the same...but the words are very different
