Moving To Mississippi - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I will soon be moving to Caledonia, Mississippi, which is about 15 miles from
Columbus(home to Columbus Air Force Base). I will let you know when the
move is official. I will miss my friends here in Ravenswood, but we are moving
to be closer to family as several family members(including Uncle Doyel and
Aunt Novella) are in ill health. Please pray for my family during this time.

Lets us know how life is like in Caledonia, Mississippi. I was raised in Wisconsin and moved to Pennsylvania. I was always curious what living in the south would be like.

Wow...I live in Aberdeen, MS (NOT the town) which is about 20-25 minutes east of Columbus. Good luck with your move. Hopefully, you'll enjoy it down here.

My Mother, Bonnie Scott went down to Jacksonville, Florida on the 19th to
stay with Novella for 2 weeks. She will be back on November 3. We hope to
be moved to Mississippi by November 30. My Father, Grady Scott, will begin
working with the Caledonia Church Of Christ Sunday, December 2nd.

The moving truck will be here tomorrow and we hope to have everything
packed by evening. We will be staying at a motel in Ripley overnight and
then travelling to Franklin, Kentucky to stay overnight at a motel there
and then continuing on to Caledonia on Thursday. My Uncle Robert and Aunt Donna
will meet us in Alabama and help us unpack at our new house in Caledonia. We hope to
have everything unpacked by Friday evening.

We now have internet access and we are settled in our new
home in Caledonia, Mississippi.
