A Family Affair

Starring Katey Sagal and Tim Matheson as Kim and Mark Burkhardt, a middle-classed Chicago married couple who experience some hardships when Kim announces she has been having a year-long extramarital affair with another married man/family friend, Dave Olson (Dennis Quaid). Dave also informs his wife, Audrey Olson (Wendi McLendon Covey). As well as telling their spouses, they inform their children. Kim and Mark has three children: Danny Burkhardt, 25 (Bret Harrison), Chad Burkhardt, 23 (Jean-Luc Bilodeau), and Lacey Burkhardt, 19 (AnnaSophia Robb). Dave and Audrey have one daughter, Kendra Olson, 19 (Jillian Rose Reed). Everyone is in a shock and an uproar about Kim and Dave's affair. Kim and Mark decide to work out their marriage, as do Dave and Audrey, but Mark and Dave's friendship and business is put into jeopardy because of the affair. Mark and Dave have been running a bar/restuarant for the past ten years together. Kim is a dental assistant. Audrey is a human resources director at a department store, where both Lacey and Kendra work as well. Also, adding to the family are Danny's fiancee, Amber Yang (Brenda Song), and Kendra's boyfriend, Jordan Delaney (Logan Lerman). Watch how the Burkhardts and the Olsons deal with the trials and tribulations of life during the aftermath of the family shattering affair.
