who gets the fuzzies when you see cast member who genuinely love each other and their characters show affection on screen. I mean I can't help but feel it. It's not just actors portraying married couples but actors portraying family members.
Does anyone feel like I do? |

If I understand you correctly, I feel this way too. You are talking about when you know that say, Carroll O'Connor and Rob Reiner like each other offscreen, and then their characters display affection onscreen, right?

Yeah, like that. You got it.
I always thought it was amazing when that moment came when two characters gave each other a hug and/or a kiss, and knowing those actors had a connection off camera only makes it that more meaningful to me. The big example for me being John Ritter and Joyce DeWitt whenever they hugged or kissed on camera. I always thought those two were soulmates. Soulmates are not confined to romantic couples, they could be really good friends or family members. Their characters as well came off like that so it always felt like it wasn't acting. Like you didn't know where John/Joyce ended and where Jack/Janet began. Another example would be Robert Reed with his children on Brady Bunch. I mean Florence obviously cared for them too, but if Robert didn't love those kids who knows what BB would have become. Like they allsaved each other and the show at the end. |

I get what you mean. On the sitcom "Martin", his character and Pam were sworn enemies, insulting each other relentlessly each and every chance they got. However, there was this ONE episode where they each dreamed that they were one anothers' lovers and it was incredible to see the chemistry that everyone knew those two had on screen for a change.
