I am wondering if this was a prank call? I do know that there is real stupidity out there! In fact my sister told me of a grown man she knows who wondered how the deer know where to cross! So I guess this brainiac could be real!

I have hit and killed 3 full full grown deer since I started driving, one on an interstate, and yes they can be a problem. but to get them to cross somewhere else because we moved a sign? I wish it were that easy. Deer do not read signs and they get stunned by our headlights and stop in front of us; even when we are traveling at high speeds. The only thing that can be done is be careful. The funny thing is, the 3 I hit? Were nowhere near a crossing sign.

I've hit a few deer in my time, too, one of them head-on. I was on a 2 lane road and 2 were running across in front of me, the 1st one made it across but the 2nd one that was right behind it is the the one I got, unfortunately. I doubt there was a crossing sign nearby because this was in Wisconsin and deer up there are a give-in!!
