Ralph Kramden, a NY Yankee fan? (Part 3) (The NY Yankees beat the Baltimore Orioles 3-2.)

(Alice & Trixie are in Trixie’s apartment.)

Trixie: “The boys should be home any minute. You know that they are going to be boasting all about the Yankees winning.”

Alice: “Oh, I know. Those boys of ours are something else.”

(Ralph & Ed arrive. The audience applauds.)

Ralph: “Well girls, it is time to celebrate. Those Yankees are on their way to the Championship series. They beat those Orioles again.”

Ed: “Yeah, they now are leading the series two games to one. You should have seen Ralph when the Yankees won. I thought that either he was going to fall through the stands and/or he was going to get a heart attack.”

Ralph (yells): “OH, YOU ARE A RIOT NORTON.”

Alice: “Well, at least you two didn’t come in here making noise.”

Ed: “We did on the first floor. Ralph got in Garrity’s face and rubbed in the fact that the Yankees won.”

Ralph: “You should have seen the look on Garrity’s kisser. He wanted to fight me but he was too chicken.”

Ed: “Yes, he was.”

Trixie: “I bet that you two would have loved it if the first three games of the series were in New York.”

Ralph: “Yeah but I wouldn’t mind it if they played in Miami Beach.”

(Audience cheers.)

Ralph: “By the way, I have to go down to our apartment to get some beer. I will be right back.”

(Ralph comes back with a black eye.)

Alice: “Ralph, what happened?”

Ralph: “I rubbed the fact that the Yankees won to Garrity again and he gave me this. Boy, I have a BIIIIIG mouth.”

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.)

Jackie: “Thank you. GOOD NIGHT!”

(Audience cheers.)
