A while back, I started a thread called "The Death of the Chief". Unlike most of my threads that do not generate any replies, this thread managed to optain six! Wow! In any event, this thread pertained to the eighties sitcom known as "Gimme a Break!". There were two ways that I was able to tie in the realities of this show with "Mad About You". In the first place, this show's Helen Hunt had auditioned for the role of Katie Kinisky who was the oldest daughter from that series. She was beaten out by Kari Michaelsen. This was in 1981. Poor Helen! However, by the end of that school year, she was given a consolation prize. This was getting to make a one-time appearance as Katie's pregnant friend Valerie. At this stage in the game the calander year was 1982. That was thirty years ago. My last thread on this page has thirty views and zero replies. I have decided to commemorate this reality by mentioning an episode that was made thirty years ago! Bye!
