Default More evidence revealed by Florida that Good Times was not a spinoff

In the last episode of Maude, Florida was asked what will she do the next day since she won't have to work

And Florida responded with........"Well I will wake up and get the kids ready for school"

Now we know the Florida character didn't have to get none of her kids ready for school because they were all old enough to dress themselves LOL

Get ready doesn't necessarily mean help them get dressed. She wakes them up, make their breakfast, she might have to iron a few things and make sure that they're heading out the door on time. My two girls are old enough to dress themselves but I still have a lot of things to do in the mornings. When you have kids your whole mind set with change. I promise you that.

A mother doesn't have to get a 16 and 17 year old ready for school

There are some mothers who still wake their teens up in the morning and will cook her kids breakfast. It happens, nine times out of ten they're stay at home moms.

Maude also stated that her and Florida will still see each other because they only live.................................45 min away

END OF DEBATE, Chicago is not 45 mins from NYC

No it isn't, we all already knew that Maude lived in NY. Nothing has changed.

It does not change the debate. Maude living in NY is not new information, we all knew that Maude lived in NY and that the Evans lived in Chicago. I said a long time ago that the Florida CHARACTER was spun off into her own show.

You don't know my child.

You are obviously not a parent. I can't tell you how many times I have had to get my kids up, especially if they stayed up late the night before.

Getting kids ready can mean many things to many different mothers, but mostly it means making sure their butts are out of bed and they have had breakfast.

She was probably worried you would oversleep.

No comment for this right now because there is nothing more that needs to be said.

Ok. I'll bite. This argument is invalid as it has already been established that the Evans family was now living in Chicago. That's old information.
