Season 6 Sales Ranking
Today is the official release day for Season Six. I've been tracking the sales ranking on Amazon since yesterday and here are the results so far. If you scroll down to the bottom of this message, that's my latest update, which is 11:00 tonight. It's also the highest position so far (373 in Movies & TV; #37 in Movies & TV > DVD > Comedy). So it's still rising. But I've got to go to bed. If anyone on the west coast wants to check in over the next few hours, it would be nice to know if it goes any higher.

Here's what happened throughout the day today. When I got up this morning, the show had moved up to #363. I don't know if that's as high as it had reached because I was asleep. It's been slowly moving down since, so from what I can tell, the peak was this morning. The highest I ever saw S5 get was #1,366. So if these figures are accurate, S6 has been selling much better, which I would attribute to the fact that every episode from S5 but one is public domain. The only real reason to buy S5 as for the Lucy in London special, and unedited, restored episodes that are otherwise available for cheap.
