Post I Have Some Really Cool News!

My 5th grade teacher's best friend's daughter used to work for Nick-At-Nite, and she gave me an e-mailt his morning and gave me great news! Listen to this!

* The Facts Of Life is coming back in Setpember!

* The Diff'rent Strokes/Hello Larry crossovers will be aired!

* TNN is currently thinking of adding Laverne and Shirley to their schedule!

* There will be a 48 hour Lucy marathon on Tv Land!

* Nick-At-Nite will be getting Roseanne and Full House in 2004!

* Nick-At-Nite will be airing ALL of The Jeffersons episodes this fall in order!

Does that help anyone here?

Thanks callmetootie. I had a feeling Laverne and Shirley would be going there. And I just knew the Facts of Life wouldn't leave Nick at Nite. It wouldn't make any sense in my opinion.

Thanks a lot for the news!

She said that the media got the idea that The Ropers and Three's A Crowd would be joining TV Land, but thr rumor was totally fake.

That's the only bad news! Hopefully, Viacom will rethink this. "Roseanne" went off in 1997, it belongs on TNN or one of the other more "Wild" channels.

All though I love "Roseanne" I think it should stay where it is on The Superstation.Full House too.

I heard about TAC and the Ropers joining TVL when TC joined NAN.I thought it was real.Maybe NAN will have a "One Year Wonder" marathon soon.........

Question

i don't like the idea of Roseanne being on NICK AT NITE, because if they can't air the FOL when the girsl shop lift then how are they going ot air the roseanne when Jackie is abused, or when Dan and Roseanne smoke pot or when dj.j " Grow's up".

------------------
Jo- Sexy Lingere?
Andy- Yep, Sexy lingerie that's you, that's what i named you.
Tootie- Oh, say you didn't
Jo- I Will not be known as sexy lingerie.

" Gross-a-roo"- Punky Brewster.

No way. There is no way Nick will ever air the episode where a KKK member moves in the building. Especially the part where they are practicing CPR on a dummy and the one guy says "I'm not touching anything that's been touched by a [beep]". That's beyond crossing the line for Nick.

I remember seeing that episode of "The Jeffersons" when it was first on (wasn't Ike Eisenmann from the "Witch Mountain movies in it?). It's pretty amazing that the content matter that Norman Lear was able to touch on in the 1970s wouldn't be allowed on TV today (can you imagine any current sitcoms dealing with things like this?).
