The season premiere had been scheduled for Friday, October 19.
Read more: http://blog.sitcomsonline.com/2012/1...season-of.html Do you think NBC will move it back to Thursdays or keep it on Fridays? |

There's a lot of speculation that the Friday comedy block was never actually going to happen and NBC was keeping them as fillers for whatever falls on their line-up...which makes sense to me. Right now I think Whitney will replace Animal Practice and Community will replace Up All Night but we'll see.

The NBC comedy has suffered so many setbacks that "it's the humane thing to do" to pull the plug, says Richard Lawson, adding: "and, well, if we're honest we wouldn't mind reading some sad/angry reactions from fans on Twitter." |

They should let Comedy Central take it, like how ABC let TBS take Cougar Town. They already have a syndication deal with them anyway.
The funny thing is that Community's ratings are just as good or better than several other NBC comedies right now so this treatment isn't even really justified. It would probably be doing better than Animal Practice and Up All Night if it had their timeslots. |
