Would you agree that Maude and Arthur are the funniest on the show?
We all know Maude was so damm funny but do you agree that Arthur was a close second? He always manages to say something funny in each episode that's unpredictable.
Example from Arthur "My father told me when I graduated medical school that I was on my own and I would not get any help at all. And I knew he was serious because the minute I took over his medical practice he retired"

Arthur was good and is funny but Mrs. Naughatuck is in 2nd place with Maude holding the champion belt for being funny. Hands down.

Gotta say I completly agree with people here, Mrs. Naugatuck was absolutely hilarious. A messy and rude opposite of Maude, making a fine and hilarious duo.

Maude - hands down the funniest character on the show. Arthur just got on my nerves too much, but he become easier to take when he married Vivian.
