lol I didn't know you liked the show that much.

While I wouldn't put it past AITF, it was definitely one of the best shows of the 1970's. It's sad that the show has been scarcely seen in syndication.

Sonny I think it's a hit now in syndication since it has been moved to the 8pm slot. And I'm surprised I;m saying this but If I had to choose between AITF and Maude, Maude all the way.

Actually when it comes to Norman Lear Sitcoms now I have maude at #2

Jeffersons

ioffer.com has sellers selling or trading the show. I know its probably edited versions but that's what you're watching now as am I. I think I may buy it and get the season one DVD.

Have you watched the whole series? The last season to me wasn't that good, you could tell that it was the last season, especially the last few episodes.

Maude was just straight up loud! My gosh! I'd want her in my corner. That is a secret weapon. LOL.

You'd also want Maude in your corner because she was a hell of a lot smarter and articulate than Archie Bunker!

Thumbs up

My mom and I have been watching the repeats on Antenna TV together recently and both of us just howl. It's sort of a bonding experience.

I totally agree with you Sonny. While Maude is a fine show, it does fall short of iconic AITF, imo anyways.

That being said though, Maude could be a riot. And it's there for the having on Antenna TV.

I think that Gloria and Mike stops AITF from being as funny as Maude.

Mike Stivick was the biggest loser, whiner, complainer on AIIF. I couldn't stand that guy. Gloria whined and complained a lot too. I like Carol from Maude a lot better than Gloria. Maude was definitely a LOT smarter than Archie, but I do like AIIF a bit more than Maude.

BTW, Carol was HOT back in the day! Perfect everything on that girl!
