I lost a Schoolmate today - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

He used to tease me and bully me in Jr. High, but someone informed me that he died 4 hours ago on Facebook. He was only 29, I'm pushing 30 myself so I should be more careful.

I don't even know if he was saved.

How did the bully guy die? How do you know he didn't die in a car accident or something like that?

You say he's dead, but you don't know if he was saved. I'm confused. What does that mean?

I don't get it either!

If he was saved he would be alive and wouldn't have died!

The Bible says it is APPOINTED once to die, which basically means if your number's up it's up. If he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour he is in a much better world.

MrCleveland is talking about being saved in the religious sense, due to the bully's ways when they were kids... Hopefully the bully reformed himself before his untimely death.

This is not a theocracy nor is this a christian forum. Every major concept in the bible has been shown as false.

The Jesus myth, the Moses myth, the Exodus myth, the Adam and Eve myth, the Garden of Eden myth, the Noah's ark myth, the creation myth, etc. Etc.

Even christians I've spoken to know the mythical Jesus won't ever "return"! He's simply part of the Judeo Christian myth.

I heard it was a heroin overdose.

And when I mean saved...I mean if he accepted Jesus as the Messiah and he died on the cross.

The difference is we known the moon is there and have solid evidence of our visitation. Moon rocks and artifacts. The Soviets hated us and had radar to track us. If it was fake they'd be all over it!

The bible, on the other hand, is a book of middle eastern mythology written by nomadic desert dwellers who were very uneducated and ignorant about how life and matter works. They had no idea what a virus, bacteria, blood cell, or electron was! It has no more business being in America than the arabic language does!

Dude, I am NOT the one proselytizing! MrCleveland is the one by bringing up bible nonsense so I'm simply responding!

I don't need to convert anyone! Christianity is a dying religion in the west as many Christians themselves have admitted. It's their KARMA you know? What comes around goes around! Even Thomas Jefferson said Christians have killed MILLIONS! The intolerance and hatred of bible mythology will come back to destroy that religion!

A guy recently wrote a book called "Man Seeks God" where he studies 8 religions in depth, none were Christian and he said there are over 10,000 gods in human history. You realize how hateful and offensive it is for MrCleveland or ANY ChristNUT to say that we have to accept their god and ONLY their god is the way?? Obviously it's a LIE and there is not a shred of evidence on earth that shows any one god is any more real than the other. In America we believe in equal rights for ALL and if you have read the bible or the history of Christianity they do NOT! It's why every Christian society has been WIPED OUT when just 300 years ago about half the planet was Christian societies!

Christian societies did NOT respect the rights and freedoms of others and that's why they no longer exist! You don't even need to be a Christian to visit the Vatican!

A thread on losing someone should not be turned into a religious debate. You should start your own thread on that if that's what you want to talk about.

Would I want religious debates if I happen to post a thread that I lost someone close to me? No, so I don't do that with others.
