Default I had such a huge judgment on Blair before

I started watching the show in it's full, I just assumed what kind of person Blair is because she's up her own ass and is rich plus good looking.

But she is such a sweet person and humble person imo. These are my personal favorite episodes from Blair

"Cousin Geri"
"Adoption"
"The New Girl"

What do you think of Blair as a character? did you have a pre-judgment on her before watching the show?

When show was originally on in the 80s I disliked Blair. She reminded me too much of the snooty, stuck-up, rah-rahs at my high school. I disliked her too much to notice any of the nice things she did and said.

After not seeing this show for 20 years, I watched all 9 seasons last summer. My opinion of Blair completely changed. I also noticed her humility. I noticed that when Jo screws up her apologies are always a long string of excuses. When Blair screws up her apologies are very humble and sincere.

One of my all-time favorite episodes is Ain't Misbeholden.

But I could swear there are some episodes where Blair comes across as a spolied rich kid jerk!

Oh there certainly are! Blair like most characters which started off as antagonists and later morphed into protagonists were by their very nature dynamic characters. Sometimes this is necessitated by storyline changes during the overall course of a show with a multi-year run but more times that not is the product of the actor becoming more prominent on the show and therefore the writers feel that they need to make the character more relatable to the audience.

One great example of such a character is Kelly Taylor on "90210". When that show started out, that character was written to be a very spoiled, snobbish Beverly Hills teenager. However as the show progressed the writers began to write material specifically tailored to how Jennie Garth was portraying the character and once Shannen Doherty left the show mid-way through it's run, the character of Kelly Taylor became a major protagonist on the show.

Wasn't there a character on Facts of Life with cerebal palsy or something? I remember she was a brunette.

That's someone you would expect Blair to treat badly at first but then come around!

Blair's cousin Geri was the one.

You know what ever happened to her?

I know there was a wheelchair girl, Cathy, on Diff'rent Strokes as well. It must be hard for them to find any acting jobs.

Basically she had a manager who tried to drive a hard bargain with FOL for more appearances during S5 (the show offered Geri a contract for a single appearance that season) and FOL balked and I don't believe the character was ever used again after that point.

I basically concur with this. I recall watching as a young boy and hating the Blair character. It seems originally she was supposed to be the villian and Jo was the good girl, but around season 5, the roles seemed to reverse.
