Default Baltimore Ravens upset the New England Patriots Tonight on SNF on NBC

Ravens use late rally to survive Pats

BALTIMORE -- Justin Tucker kicked a 27-yard field goal as time expired, giving the Baltimore Ravens a 31-30 victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday night in a rematch of the AFC championship game.

When the teams met in January, the Patriots squeezed out a three-point win at home to advance to the Super Bowl. The stakes weren't nearly as high in this one, yet the game was eerily similar.

In the previous meeting, Billy Cundiff missed a 32-yard field goal in the closing seconds. In the encore, Tucker -- who took the job away from Cundiff in training camp -- drove his kick inside the right upright.

The game-winning kick followed a pass interference call against Devin McCourty on Jacoby Jones.

Torrey Smith, who was playing less than 24 hours after the death of his 19-year-old brother, had six catches for 127 yards and two touchdowns for the Ravens.

Baltimore (2-1) won its 12th straight at home behind Joe Flacco, who went 28 for 39 for 382 yards and three touchdowns.

Tom Brady completed 28 of 41 passes for 335 yards and a score for the Patriots (1-2).

This is not considered a upset. Both teams were in the AFC championship last year

Wow, New England lost? That's a shame. I love the Patriots. We were watching that game earlier and I was sure that New England had it in the bag!

The Pats were up 30-21 in the 4th qtr and had just stopped the Ravens on 4th down and got the ball back with a 9 pt lead. I have no idea what happened after that

The Pats stopped playing defense. They looked good earlier on, and after that, the defense just let the Ravens back in it.

Well, I had the Pats winning on my picks. I still think they are slightly better than the Ravens just because of Brady. But the weak defense of the Pats proved they aren't that much better than the Ravens.

I do think Joe Flacco is legit, but I still wouldn't put him up there, he has to show more.

Baltimore was favored by 3.5.

How is that an upset?

Yes slightly better but to call it a upset is just beyond foolish.

Baltimore really didn't win the game because i saw the field goal kick at the end and he missed it. I can see why Bill Belicheck ran up to the ref at the end and grabbed him because he deserved a explanation for a bullsh*t call. These replacement refs are horrible. I'm glad the league worked out a deal with the regular refs.

You must need glasses because the FG was clearly inside the Goal Post when you watched on the replay
