I love Lucy on TV Land - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

TV Land should run this before every episode of I Love Lucy. "We now join our regularly scheduled program already in progress". TV Land has really gone to lows on this one. They start the show about 5 minutes in, of course to run commercials. Instead of cutting where they should cut, "let's just cut the first 5 minutes, nobody will know the difference." They are actually cutting out a major part of the plot, the set up for the show, they are killing it.

And today, they are airing the same episode they aired the other day. Do they pay attention to detail at all?
