Default Spoiler Alert: Episode 1

Well it was a ok episode and some funny moments,

The surprises

1.Seeing that Ryan Howard is no longer on the show

2. Jim interested in working for another company

Unnecessary

1. The story about Angela's cat

2. The activity outside the office: Tight rope walk

Obvious

1. The way the episode started the path to Dwight's spinoff

Confusing

1. The two new employees who look no older than 20

Well it was great to see the show back and hopefully next week it's a little better and it's a "work related" story

I beg to differ. It was very brief, but did you notice Oscar's cell phone call regarding the cat? This cat story seems to be a set-up for things to come. It may be interesting.

Nope because I checked out once they got on the "cat" topic

Angela's cat is her gay husband's favorite cat. That's why Oscar adopted it. Oscar and the gay husband are having a secret affair. He took the cat so gay husband can still see it and play with it when he goes to Oscar's for a visit.

It is a set-up for things to come.

Oh ok, thanks. I forgot about her gay husband. I was wondering why I was hearing about some damm cat in a workplace comedy.

Oscar was calling the gay husband to tell him that the cat would be at his place when he comes over for dinner. What a sneak!

I'm glad this is happening to Angela because I never liked her character. I still can't believe Ryan Howard is gone from the show

She's one of those characters I love to hate. Yes, she's an obnoxious, mean, pretentious, clueless, fake goodie-two-shoes. She reminds me of some people I've known . . . and didn't like. That's what's so fun about the character. You want to laugh at her because it's like laughing at all those obnoxious, mean, pretentious, clueless, fake goodie-two-shoes I've known. And the thought of Oscar having an affair with her husband is some sort of poetic justice. I'm looking forward to seeing how that all unfolds, and how she inevitably finds out. That should be fun.

Dwight doing the tightrope walking outside was the best part of the episode - along with Andy pushing Nellie off the line....

Yes, the call from Oscar to gay Senator was a brief but ever so important piece of dialogue

I just feel the episodes are starting to be too juvenile since the cast are all over 30 with some being over 40. To me it was too goofy for a opening episode for a "workplace comedy"

I hope I don't bail on the show before Thanksgiving like I did in 2010
