You can. Go here http://keepvid.com/ paste the url in the link on the top. You will have to allow it to run in your browser and then just right click on the MP4 formats and click save targest as to wherever you want it to download to and then just open the file into itunes after it's done downloading.

This is what it will look like after you enter the video you want.

Can't you just play the video in your itunes and while it's playing hit "save to playlist" ?

I use VLC player, I just put the youtube vid link into VLC click on convert, click save, save as .mov click OK, click play and VLC will save the vid to you comp. Once the vid is done downloading open it in itunes, while it is playing right click and save to playlist.

Copy the Youtube vid URL
Open VLC Player
Click Media
Click open Network Stream
Paste the URL in the network stream box
Below the network stream you will see a button that says play, Click it and change it to Convert.
Click save,
Name the video file Save the file as a video file like .mpg, .mov or .avi, For example Goodtimes-Overtherainbow.mpg
Make sure you remember where you saved the video. Make another file on your desktop for your Youtube vids so that they will be easy to find.

I need a class for this LOL
1. 1st copy the link of the video and paste it on the top bar.
2. After you paste it click download in the black box that says download it will then say loading Java aplet.
3. Then you will have to allow it to have access to it.
4. Then right click on the file type you want (MP4 will work best in itunes).
5. Right click and hit save target as and save it to wherever you want.
6. After the file is finished downloading right click it and select open in itunes
7. It will then open in itunes and save it to the library and start playing

Here are a couple pictures of the process

watch this vid and he shows you how to do it step by step. It isn't hard. Just do the steps along with him and you'll see how easy it is.
