"Young and the Restless" Casts "Fresh Prince" Star -- EXCLUSIVE

A well-known veteran of the NBC comedy "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" will make a stop in Genoa City to oversee a very important trial.

EW has learned that James Avery — who actually played a successful judge on the long-running comedy that starred Will Smith – will guest star on CBS’ "The Young and the Restless". He’ll begin work this Friday on his episodes that will start airing on Oct. 12.

Mum’s the word on his story arc, but rabid fans might be able to guess who’s going to have to face the man in the robe!
