I hope this hasnt been discussed before.. I thought it would be fun to find out which eposides, if any, had the actors and/or Robert Stack shoot scenes at the actual scene of where the crimes took place. If you know of any please post them. thanks

Most of the segments had the re-enactments filmed at the actual crime scene(s) (or the actual scene/place of the "mysteries"), at least in the first half of the show's run (ie 1987-1995-ish).

yep
There might have been times where the setting/scene in a segment was more vague (outdoors: ie a large field, prairie, woods; indoors: ie a police department, any kind of office building) and the UM crew didn't bother to go to the actual location involved in a case, but whenever the setting was a very specific/detailed place, they would film at that exact location (like I said, at least in the early years of the show). |
