Would you date (or marry) a person who was say 10+ years older than you, or, if applicable, 10+ years younger than you?

Right now, at 22, I definitely wouldn't go that much younger

, but I don't think I'd have a problem going older. If we really were in love, I don't see a problem with it. My dad is another story. I think he'd be a tad peeved if I brought home a 40 year old.

I'm 24 now. At this point in my life I would refuse to date anyone that was 6+ years younger than me or 3+ years older than me.

I would definetly date someone 10+ years older than me...I find maturity attractive, and I don't meet many mature guys my age...LOL (no offense to the mature guys here

) But not 10 years younger...no way could I deal with that...LOL

Well, right now I'm 13 (14 March 28th), and I don't think I would date anyone younger. Just because of the fact most (notice MOST lol) of the guys at my age aren't THAT mature. There is like 1 or 2 boys in the entire 8th grade at school that. As for older, yeah I would date someone older. But at this point, not too much older a few years though.

Now, my parents may not exactly agree with that but oh well...

I dunno - I usually tend to stick with folk round-about my own age. Although I guess it would depend on the person. For example, if Drew Barrymore asked me out, I wouldn't say 'no' just cos she's 7 years older than me. Know what I mean?
And I'm certainly not bothered about what my parents would think of the situation so that's not an issue either.
I'm 19 though, and I really couldn't see myself in a relationship with someone who's hitting 30!

I would recommend older rather than younger!Especially as a husband!

I'd feel uncomfortable a younger s.o. As for older, I don't mind them being older, just not 10 years.

Well I'm 13 and my boyfriend is 2 years older than me (15) and the oldest boyfriend that I have had was 4 years older (17)

But the oldest that I have umm... dunno how to put it *shrugs*, he was 22... (9 years... ewwie)

LOL. But yeah I guess i could do 10 years older but not 10 younger... ;D

A word to the wise............. My parents got married when my father was 35 and my mom was 20. That's a 15 year age difference. When my pops got older and wanted to settle down and do nothing, My mom would pitch a fit because he couldn't take her anywhere. He was too tired. Man there were alot of fights! My mom would tell her daughters "Don't marry a man that's too much older than you because when you want to have fun - They don't!".

I wouldnt date an older dude either, Im stickin to my age or 2 years older, like Caitlin..(13+15) When i get to that age..teehee

Yeah, my parents are pretty far apart in age,too. 11 years or so...I dunno, but once on a really long car trip, I figured out that when my mom was in 1st grade, my dad was a Junior!! LOL, I don't care now, but *ugh*!!
