hi. I know there was a topic about this before, but I've tried searching for it, but cannot find it. blah. so here goes:
read any good books lately?!
I need some ideas.....I'm reading the Adrien Mole Diaries right now. it's hilarous. Reminds me of Bridget Jones' Diary (the book was better than the movie, imho!)

Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. A very good book. You might not like it though because just about everyone in my grade hated it.

I just finished Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban.
It took me 1 month but was soooooooo worth it!!

I've read all the Harry Potter books... yeah the 3rd one ~ Azkaban is my fave though.
Great Expectations ~ actually we're gonna be reading this in English after we finish what we're reading now ~ Othello

Lately? I read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire... I'm reading The Golden Compass for a second time; it's a really great book. Oh, and right now in English we're reading A Tale of Two Cities. It's pretty good so far, but I'm only on the first chapter of Book the Second.

I love mysteries so... I mainly read Mary Higgins Clark. She has really good mysteries. What is the Herculeah Jones series about, Karli? Any info much appreciated

We are reading The Count Of Monte Cristo in English right now....its pretty good...the movie just came out too and its awesome! I suggest reading this book....its really good.

I just finished reading The Business of Fancydancing by Sherman Alexie and Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca's La Relacion. Both for a class, and I had to write papers on them!

I also had to read The Gender of Sexuality

Coming up for classes, I have to read:
The Flivver King
Beloved
So Far From God
Two Years in the Melting Pot
Political Process and the Development of Black Insurgency, 1930-1970
and
White Weddings: Romancing Heterosexuality in Popular Culture

....maybe I'll let you know how they were when I'm done

-Pride and Predjudice by Jane Austen (my fave book)
-Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
-A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett
-A Room With a View by E. M. Forster

I know, I like the girly books
