Default The mystery closing credits for the episode "Black Jesus"

Still would like to like to know why the closing credits of Black Jesus has that weird closing theme but not the other episodes?

In the closing credits of black jesus it sounds like the entire cast is singing

It can be heard on the DVD and on syndication but for some reason it's not on youtube

I remember that Closing Theme Song because I taped Good Times on video years ago. There singing the Closing Theme all slow instead of the faster pace on on all the other episodes, it kind of made the laugh the way they were singing it.

Yes no matter what channel airs the episode you hear the weird closing credits for that episode. And it's on the season 1 DVD

I have the DVDs, I am gonna have to check that out. I probably did notice it, but I am too tired to remember how it sounded.

Does your DVD really have it? Because mine doesn't.

It should be on there, a weird sounding closing THEME. Not Closing credits

I should have been saying closing theme song

I finally had a chance to record on my DVR this episode just so I can catch the closing theme song. I recorded the episode from Antenna channel.

The singing is definitely different from the rest. It is funny. They don't sing in the high voices. Also, I don't know if it is just the Antenna Channel, but after the painting of the family is shown while some of the credits are shown, there is then a screen shot of the apartment building and then suddenly the music and singing stops. Then a moment of a black screen is shown, then the music starts right where it was cut off and they show the kids who are staring at the camera. Does this happen for this particular episode on any other channel too?

I wouldn't be surprised if this episode was supposed to originally be the first episode or the pilot, but they decided to go with the getting up the rent episode first. I know "Black Jesus" was the second one taped, but I wonder if they had wanted it to air first and that is why we hear a different song?

That song is whack.
