How come Jack never took the initiative to get his own place like Larry?? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I mean when he first moved in with the girls he had no job but over time once he started making money why not look into a one bedroom apartment like the one Larry had so he could move away from the girls?

Especially when he got his own restaurant, made no sense

I KNOW that. The Above Post was a JOKE. I was a regular viewer of the series. I am absolutely sure that SO members who are very familar with the series smiled and got the joke intended by the photo composition. (I created it.....it was never anywhere online.)

sure, but it was probably easier to meet more NEW women through Janet and Chrissy, and the bottom line is that even after opening the restaurant he probably wanted to save money (more to spend on dates - he didn't even own a CAR) and why move out when he got along with his roommates so well?

Jack didn't move out because it would have changed the whole concept of what Three's Company was about.

The characters didn't grow & evolve, and that's what I believe led to TC ending not as a popular show anymore. For those who follow ratings, would know that TC's drastically dropped in popularity in its final year.

Also when Jack opened his restaurant, Chrissy was no longer is roomate like you guys have pictured.

It didn't make sense for him to constantly hide his girlfriends from Janet and Terri/Chrissy once he had his own place.

The OP is asking an incredibly stupid question! If Jack moves out it KILLS the show! Plus he's living with 2 hot chicks so why ruin that?
