A couple of questions about The Hills

I've been watching The Hills marathon all weekend(hey, it could be Jersey Shore) and I had a couple of questions about the show. One, how does someone get out of a reality show? I mean Lauren was the center of the show until she left. But what happened after that? Did you notice nobody ever mentioned Lauren or hung out with Lauren after Lauren left? I dont believe that Lo, Audrina etc. stopped being friends with her, so how did they do that? I mean even Heidi and Spencer never mentioned Lauren on camera. You would think that if the cameras are following you, you think you would slip Lauren's name once in a while. But when Lauren left, nobody mentioned her again on camera.


Where did Kristin come from? I mean she appeared and all of a sudden shes on camera. What was she doing all the time when she wasnt on the show. You would think she would run into Brody or someone once in a while on the show. All of a sudden shes hanging out with Audrina, Lo, Stepahnie etc. I mean what made her want to hang out with them all of a sudden? Was that ever acknowledged? I dont think she would say that the reason why shes taking an interest in them is because she's on a reality show. I dont think she or any of the cast members were supposed to acknowledge the cameras but at least say she was off camera on vacation or studying at college or something. It just seemed a little too convientent that when Lauren left, here comes Kristin who was never even acknowledged by the cast, and then all of a sudden Kristin becomes friends with them and it seemed like Lauren didnt even exist.

Anybody have any thoughts on this? I mean some people hate The Hills but can of you answer my questions?
