i'm sorry if this post is from england and all but i have to tell you guys if any of you are from the U.K. then you probably know who Max Bygraves is as the host of Family Fortunes from 1983-1985. well anywho he passed away Friday at the age of 89 due to a two-year battle with Alzhimer's diesease.

He was kinda like the Rcihard Dawson of the UK Version with the way he laid it thick on those that gave horrificly bad answers and I loved him on there.

really, I though that the late Bob Monkhouse acted more Dawson-esque than Bygraves, but to each his own i guess.

BTW, stupid questions megamanj2004, but is Les Dawson realated to Richard Dawson?

No way, not even close. Richard Dawson was born Colin Em in Gosport, Hampshire, England. Les Dawson was born Leslie Dawson in Manchester, Lancashire, England.

In way it would be and it would be even more ironic if they really were, considering that in a way Les Dawson reminds me of a cross between Richard Dawson and Louie Anderson physically.
