You would think I'd know all of the episodes by now, but now. Some are still unknown to me.
I saw a clip of I Love The 80's which featured a segment on Unsolved Mysteries. Towards the end there was an older woman who was standing in a dark room. She turned around and Robert said "Kay had just enough time to catch a glimpse of the stranger." Or something like that. I don't know what episode that was. Another episode I actually saw on the new version of UM. Some guy who was a member of a radical constitutionalist group shot a cop who pulled him over. I believe this guy used to host his own radio program too. Any details or updates pertaining to these two cases would be appreciated as well. Thanks.

I don't recall the second one but the only one I know about a cop being shot after pulling someone over was Martin Ganz, who was shot in December of 1993 while taking his nephew with him out on patrol. |

First one is, without question, Jim and Kay Tatum and the poltergeist from the October 1988 ghost themed episode.
The second one is a Lifetime created episode from 2001 or 2002. I saw it semi-recently, but I forget the guy's name. He was some ultra right wing militant nutjob who was trying to start a "war". He was pulled over for some extremely minor traffic offense and opened fire on the officer. He was subsequently caught not long after this aired. I could probably find it as I have the episode on a DVD. If anyone remembers the dude's name, please feel free to post it. |

Is the second one this case?
http://unsolvedmysteries.wikia.com/w...ephen_Anderson Aired in 2002 and he was captured about a year later. Or was it some guy in a brown van? Or at least it was a brown van in the reenactment I think. |

You're correct. Stephen Anderson was the guy I was referring to. Thanks. |

Just because I don't want to create another "help me identify this case thread" can anyone tell me the names in the case where the man shoots his ex-wife when she comes out of the shower and shot her lover in the living room? It's a later segment and that one haunted me because of the reenactment where she grabs the shower curtain and the rings pop off. I want to find it on the forbidden site!

I know that the early 2000s cases are not as popular (and I agree that the quality is much lower) but some of them are so interesting and difficult to find. I'm hoping that more of them get released. |
