Jorge Garcia To Guest on "Once Upon a Time"
"Lost's" Jorge Garcia to Guest-Star on "Once Upon a Time"
Aug 29, 2012 by Natalie Abrams "Once Upon a Time" has enlisted the help of another "Lost" alum! Jorge Garcia, well-known for playing eventual island protector Hurley on the ABC drama and for his role on Fox's "Alcatraz", has landed a guest-starring role on "Once", TVGuide.com has learned. Details on his role are scarce, but we do know Garcia will be playing "The Giant." Considering the ABC fairy tale drama is taking on Jack and the Beanstalk this season, we're guessing Garcia is the famed giant that Jack comes across after climbing up the titular beanstalk. The second season of "Once Upon a Time" premieres Sunday, Sept. 30 at 8/7c on ABC. http://www.tvguide.com/News/Once-Upo...t-1052478.aspx |

Keck's Exclusives First Look: Jorge Garcia's Giant "Once Upon a Time" Role
Oct 15, 2012 by William Keck Fee-fi-fo-fum. On Nov. 4, ABC's "Once Upon a Time" gets another visit from a "Lost" alum, and this one's a biggie. Or, more specifically, "a Giant, like six times a normal person," says Jorge Garcia. Though Jack the beanstalk boy is not involved in this take on the fairy-tale classic, expect the big man to interact with Emma and Captain Hook. Just like the characters in the classic Disney cartoon Mickey and the Beanstalk, Emma and Hook go on a mission to find something in the Giant's lair. But it's not a golden singing harp like in the cartoon. "It's something else," teases Garcia. The Giant will be far from mellow. "He's a dangerous, angry guy," says Garcia, whose favorite part of the role was dressing up in the Giant's rags. It was "the coolest, most extravagant costume I've ever worn," he says. "There's definitely an Eastern influence to it, with a corset-style belt and a lot of bangle things that jingled when I walked." http://www.tvguide.com/News/Once-Upo...a-1054638.aspx |
