To watch.

I believe Central Perk was the first part of the set that was taken down, so they couldn't shoot the last scene in Central Perk. It would have been nice to end it at the Coffee shop but the real heart of the sitcom was Monica's apartment.

I loved the ending, I think it would have been a bit corny ending it at the coffee shop, it would have been expected.

New scenes? Like other unedited DVD's? The only one I can think of is the one that was edited due to Sept 11th.

For current shows, when they are releases on DVD, there are scenes that are on the DVD that was not shown on Network TV

For example the Office has tons of scenes on the DVD that I never saw on NBC

Cut scenes, I'm sure there are some, I've never compared the DVD's to syndicated episodes and I can't compare them to NBC origninal episodes because I didn't tape those . Like I said the only one that I can think of is the Episode that was cut due to Sept 11th. That is the only one that comes to mind.

Wait, the episode that was scheduled to air the Thursday after 9/11 was never shown in syndication?

It aired, but a airport scene was cut out due to a joke about a Bomb in Chandlers suitcase.
