Aug 23, 2012 by Kate Stanhope "Grey's Anatomy" may have lost a few faces this past year, but there will be plenty of newbies roaming the halls when the medical drama returns this fall. Newcomer Tessa Ferrer has scored a recurring role on the ABC drama's upcoming ninth season, TVLine reports. It is unknown whether Ferrer will play a character based at Seattle Grace, or if she'll be tied to one of the new hospitals to be featured on the show this season when several longtime characters start their new gigs.
