Default What current TV shows do you plan to sample this season?

I will sample Parks and Recreation because someone told me it's better than the Office and I want to see if it's true

Modern Family is another show I will sample because my family tells me it's a great show and I see it in a lot of dating profiles on the internet

Not many if any at all. Theres very few netowrk shows anymore i watch. Theres a few we watch and fewer that i watch, my wife watches more.I think less than ten for me combined between abc, nbc, cbs and fox and only suoernatural ,i think thats cw network. We wont sample any shows that are currently on, if we didnt watch them before, we didnt like what the shows premise was about so never bothered.

The only NEW shows last season i liked was Whitney, after a few weeks my wife got into it. We will try some new shows this year as we usualy do,but not sure whats out there thats new as we havent checked

Same here. Seems everytime show that male and female just friends and they get together,it ruins the show, On whitney those 2 live together, if they get married it ruins it. same with shows where they decide to have the gf or wife pregent, ruins the show most of time. I like Whitney, was the only new comedy i did like last year. I thought it was gone.; i swear i read it wasn't getting renewed and was canceled. It wasnt til about 2 days ago i seen it was coming back.

I probably won't try any existing shows because I try all the new shows. But the returning shows I watch are:

The Office (it fell downhill hard last year, but I'm hopeful the final season will be better with Greg Daniels back)
Parks and Recreation (best comedy on TV)
Modern Family
The Middle
New Girl
Person of Interest
Revenge
Criminal Minds
Parenthood
Scandal
(maybe) Once Upon a Time

Shows I watched last year that I will probably stop watching are Up All Night and Last Man Standing. I didn't really love either one and now there's many new shows to sample.

For the first time in YEARS, I feel like there are too many shows to keep up with. I'll probably end up cutting my schedule down by half a few weeks into the Fall. There's only so much space on the DVR, lol.

Returning Shows I'll watch
Revenge
The Walking Dead
Gossip Girl
90210
The Vampire Diaries
30 Rock
The Office
Up All Night
Whitney
New Girl
2 Broke Girls
Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23

I think you would like it, Solomon. A kind of modern day Laverne & Shirley. There's a few side characters, but the girls are basically in every single scene.

And yes, you do need a DVR.

My funds are dried up so it's nowhere for me to add the DVR service. My only option to record something else at the same time while I'm watching another show is to

"Disconnect the Internet so I can connect the other cable box to the other VCR and then go to the channel I want to record from

You are only able to watch one channel at a time? You can't watch one channel and record another channel on a VCR? That's what I used to do years ago when I didn't have cable in my bedroom.
