Default 11 obsolete products that are still made..very interesting!

I didn't know they only stopped making the Sony Walkman in 2010 or that they STILL make 35 mm film and there are still a few phone booths around!

Even typewriters are still used!

Phone books are such a waste of paper, really wish they didn't send those anymore. When I was in New Zealand I saw a couple of phone booths, hadn't seen one of those (or even just a payphone) in years.

I work at a warehouse club and I have people every now and then ask if we sell 35mm film (we don't).

I got my yellow pages delivered to my door a few months back.

Went right into recycling.

I agree about the phone books being a waste of paper. All you have to do now is Google something to find it. I used to take our phone books to work in case we needed them. I could see them still making 35mm film but the Walkman surprised me. And the fax machine was surprising b/c I wouldn't think of those as obsolete!

I guess they figue scanning, e - mail, and text messaging have greatly reduced the need for faxing.

I bought a Sony walkman about one year ago (bought online). I use it when biking and when watering the back yard.

Yes, a cassette player. Also FM/AM and "mega-bass."

It really comes in handy but it would be nice if the AM stations had a better signal.

Eventually they may not. Some nations have talked about going to a cashless society where your money would be on your own debit card instead of cash.

It's much better for the environment.

If that happens, then the pickpockets and counterfeiters will join the ranks of the unemployed.
