I don't know if I like Ray's cousin Mickey. Why'd they bring him into the show??? Just to add someone new?

He was yet another love interest for Lucy, and to give Ray and Donna something to do. I admit this was a time when the show would kind of retread itself and move in circles. So many people go on and on about this season and era as the best but I have to disagree, I really think this middle part of the show was when it was sloppy and repetitive. I thought the later and earlier stuff was much more creative as well as faster-paced in general, in part because they were telling more original stories instead of dragging out the same stuff.

I have to disagree. I thought it was a good era and a good storyline about Mickey. Poor kid (like everyone else on the show), he got caught in the middle of J.R. and Bobby's fights. This time they were fighting for control of Ewing Oil.

Mickey was okay, but I preferred Mitch.

Mickey was lucy's best love interest IMO, it's a shame they killed him off so soon. I enjoyed Mitch aka Michelle in the beginning but by the time Afton starting messing around with Jr and Cliff i couldn't wait for him to go.
