"Apartment 23": Ben Lawson Joins Cast as Love Interest for Chloe

Chloe may finally meet her match this season!

Ben Lawson has landed a recurring role on the second season of "Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23", TVGuide.com has learned. The Australian actor will play Jonathan, a new love interest for Chloe (Krysten Ritter).





Series creator Nahnatchka Kahn recently told us about the role, noting that whoever was cast would have to keep up with Ritter.

"Chloe's going to have a potential love interest that's the first guy who is her equal that she's ever met," she said. "That's somebody we're interested in coming back for a few episodes."





We'll first meet Jonathan in the Halloween episode, in which the ladies go out on the town.

"This is going to be June's [Dreama Walker] first Halloween solo because she broke up with her fiancé, so it's the first time she's out of a couples' costume," Khan says.

"For her first solo Halloween, she goes as a lady Hobbit because it's emblematic of her journey of self-discovery. Every single girl wants a ring. Chloe is going as a lot of different things."



"Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23" returns Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 9:30/8:30c on ABC.
