Honeymooners TV Schedule (8/19-9/1):

All times are Eastern.

All episodes are in CC.

This schedule is for some MeTV affiliates due to the fact that some local stations in some markets may also broadcast the Honeymooners and they may take exception to MeTV wanting to show the show as well as the fact that they may want to show other shows. Like WZME (the MeTV affiliate for NYC), according to zap2it.com will not show the Honeymooners on Sun. at 5am.

As a result, he decides to make a list of his good points and do something to correct his bad ones.

Aug. 27, 2012 9:30p #027 (aka #135) - “Ralph’s Big Mouth” (aka "Head of The House"): In the hilarious "Head of the House" (originally telecast March 31, 1956), Ralph marks his "emancipation" as king of his castle by sitting down with Norton to finish a bottle of wine that is "a little strong but good." Their first toast, Ralph says, is "to my wife, who has finally found her place." Actually, what Alice found was a bottle of grape juice, which she substituted for the wine. When the men get plastered and pass out, Trixie and Alice pour their own drinks and make their own toasts. "I give you our husbands," says Trixie. "You can have 'em," says Alice. The wine-and-grape-juice scene, Art Carney recalled, was one of his favorites. "We really were laughing at each other...because we were supposed to be laughing...crocked and everything. Funny scene."

I find it insulting that networks continue to show the Lost Episodes heavily edited. There are ways to air the entire episodes in all their glory. Maybe show two 35-40 minute episodes in a 2 hour time slot. Or maybe show one 35-40 minute episode and one 10-15 minute sketch in a 1 hour and a half time slot. Or something like that. There are ways to do this. I don't understand why they would take a 35-40 minute episode and chop it up to 21 minutes so it fits a half-hour time slot with commercials. That's just wrong.

In case you are wondering about the schedule, I jsut found out from WICU's website, that they are no longer going to be showing their own showings of The Honeymooners and are only be going to show MeTV's showings.

Zap2it.com says that in their guide as well but when you type "The Honeymooners" in their search engine, it says otherwise. Hmmm.

I just found out that my local MeTV station down in southwest Florida will not air it due to the fact that they are airing ABC's Monday night lineup because WZVN is showing a football game. (Down here, MeTV is a subchannel for the ABC affiliated station WZVN.)

Sorry, I just found out that WCIU IS showing the Honeymooners (but only on their local MeTV TOO channel that is ONLY available in Chicago and they are not customizing their MeTV main subchannel to show it like I thought they were. I am sorry. I don't live in Chicago. Here's the schedule for the rest of the week for MeTV TOO.)
