Default The boys on the tracks

Looks like a movie is being made about it. I hope this case gets solved one day.

Wow... Never thought they'd make a movie out of this case. How cool would it be if a film was made about the Cindy James case?

I really, really hope this goes through. I would love for this story to have a large stage again.

Is this a straight to DVD, made for TV movie or is this going to theaters first?

Interesting to know they're making a movie.

http://unsolvedmysteries.wikia.com/w...and_Kevin_Ives

Summary:

Two teen friends were out "spotlighting" for game when something unexplained happened. Maybe saw something they shouldn't, maybe ticked off the wrong people, etc. They were killed (or nearly dead, I can't remember) when they were laid out on train tracks. The train engineer couldn't stop in time and ran them over.

Fahmy Malak, the ME who did the autopsies botched the case and this is mainly where the Clinton conspiracies come in as there are rumors that Dr. Malak covered up some mistakes Clinton's mother made as a nurse anesthetist that caused a patient's death.

The UM wikia says that case was closed without being resolved but that after finding stab marks in one of the boy's shirts and some other wounds to their bodies that weren't inflicted by the train, the investigation went from Probably Homicide to Definite Homicide, rather than two kids smoking too much pot and deciding to sleep it off on the tracks, which was a theory that was previously pursued until a grand jury overruled Dr. Malak's harebrained explanation.

Interesting. this was one of the most creepy cases and to make it worse they tried to say the boys died from smoking marijuana cigerattes and falling asleep on some railroad tracks? i think you would have to be on something stronger than pot to lay down on some railroad tracks like that.

glad they got their names cleared, but unfortuneately law enforcement may have missed out on any type of investigation that they may have had early on by focusing on suicide?

People in the law enforcement community were the problem in this case to begin with--both locally in the city and county, and at the state level. The entire thing is a police coverup if there ever was one.

Agreed. This case was always odd to me that two teens would just be laying on the track alive. I remember the police had said they took drugs and passed out. Hopefully one day this case will be solved.

Yeah this case was definitely murder. Wasn't it shown that one of the boys was already dead when on the tracks before the train?

WOW! Thanks buddy! I remember this case from years ago! Very creepy!

The connection is something about how many dead people can be blamed on Clinton. Since he supposedly (as governor of Arkansas) continued to keep Dr. Malak at his post as ME and supposedly arranged for him to get raises and promotions, these boys are included in that body count list.

I guess the idea is that if Clinton hadn't arranged with Malak to get his mother out of serious trouble over the death of one of her patients, Malak would never have been in the position to make such a ridiculous finding in their cause of death. If Malak hadn't been there, a more competent ME might have done a better job with the autopsies, found the wounds inflicted previous to the train impact (a second autopsy finally revealed that information), and maybe this would have been investigated properly from the beginning rather than brushed aside as a couple kids getting high and making stupid decisions.

Someone who knows more about the Clinton Body Count thingie and Clinton conspiracies can probably be much more help on this subject. I read the Clinton Body Count list a long time ago and don't remember much about it. I read about Dr. Malak maybe a couple years ago. I can't remember if my impression was that he was corrupt, stupid, or both. Things I read about his career were stuff like he testified in court about findings in tissue samples, only for DNA testing to later reveal he'd been testing and talking about a completely different person, not the one he was supposed to be testifying about in court. He once accused a fellow ME or ME's assistant of killing someone, all because Malak read the deceased's chart wrong. And IIRC, one death that he ruled as suicide was a man shot about 5 times in the chest. And as I posted previously, I'd read something about him deliberately botching cases. I need to find the site where all these allegation against Malak were detailed. Can't remember if it was the body count site or someplace else.

For me personally, the connection I see to Clinton, and this is only if the info is true about him having Malak cover for his mom to save her hide in a malpractice lawsuit, is that he could have gotten rid of Malak but let the guy stay on, which put him in the position to botch this case. If there are stories about Clinton being directly involved in drug running and calling for these kids to be killed, I wouldn't believe that kind of connection.

-------

Okie dokie, I just did a google search for "dr. fahmy malak" and a page of the Clinton Body Count list was the first return. It's a copy of a Los Angeles Times article written on May 19, 1992 by James Risen and Edwin Chen titled "Clinton's Ties to Controversial Medical Examiner Questioned".

I haven't figured out if its a hoax or a copy of an actual newspaper article that was published 20 years ago. I'm going to read it after I post this, but after scanning it quickly, I noticed that it gives a few examples of strange behavior by Malak during his tenure as ME.

Anyone know if this article has been debunked as a "clinton body count" fabrication or is a real article? Are the accusations against Malak known to be true, published by other sources, or is the Body Count thing the only source of the Malak info?
