Default One-time character or actor you wanted to see more than once

For me, it's was character Uncle Wilbur. Actor Lou Gossett appeared more than once, but Uncle Wilbur did not. Man, he blended right it with the family, was compatible with Wilona, brougt energy to the show, and was just likable from the start. He was filling in for James, but I wil tell you one thing: Instead of bringing in Moses Gunn to "replace" James, Uncle Wilbur would have been a better replacement. You couldn't replace James, but Uncle Wilbur would have worked better than Carl. Also, him and Wilona would have made a nice couple.

I really liked Ben, the gentleman Florida met in the club - the first time she had contemplated dating someone since the loss of James. I think Ben would've been a much better match for her than Carl Dixon.

True - but Ben really was so sweet. They should have brought him back.

I TOTALLY AGREE!, Uncle Wilber would have so much better than Carl. Lou gave off the same vibe that John did.

Wasn't Lou Gossett's other GT character a real creep who was always getting fresh with the ladies, or am I confusing that with his guest spot on The Jeffersons?

LOL You're confusing him with George friend on The Jeffersons.

On GT Lou played Thelma's first fiance the old man who's family own the chicken restaurants. And then he came back and played Florida's brother.

The Angry dad from season 6 who didn't want his son to paint gave off a James Vibe too

Yeah, that was during the James years - I remember him now as Thelma's much-older suitor. Thanks!!

Out of all of the things I have ever seen him in, the weirdest character he ever played was on "Picket Fences".

He played Brock's (the sheriff's) ex partner, he ends up kidnapping Kim (Brock's daughter) and holding her hostage in his basement. He made her dress up in a prom dress and started to dance with her. And then he made Brock beat him up, he was actually begging Brock to beat him up. He was psycho, but it was a good episode.

It will make you look at him differently LOL.

When his character made this statement to george on the Jeffersons after he was making a pass at Weezy I was like.......

"Ain't better with a friend than a stranger?"
