I was watching The Mural episode, at the end JJ tells James that he was proud of him and when James took his hat off you could see that John had a toupee on LOL. The front peek part of his hair was pointing out. Has anyone ever noticed this?

There was always something about John's hairline that I never could figure out. In some episodes, that front part at times look whiter than the rest of his hair. If you look at this episode from Mary Tyler Moore (1977) that pointy hairline is non-existent...check it out at the 2:41 mark and pause:

When John was on Maude, did he have that same pointy hairline? |
