I have this huge fear of spiders. So this story really creeps me out!
By the way, I just read on snopes.com that the rumor of humans swallowing 8 spiders a year , while they are sleeping , is completely false! Thank Goodness! There was no disclaimer about the spider in the ear so I guess it's feasible! I just hope that it never happens to me!

I clicked on the link, and that is one nasty sight! The thoughts of that in my ear just bugs me out, pun intended. Animal Planet has a show called, Monsters Inside Me. It's amazing the creepy crawlers that find their way into the human body.

"It wasn't clear what species of spider the ear intruder was, or if its activities in the ear canal included egg laying."
OH GOD I HOPE IT DIDN'T LAY EGGS.

This reminds me of an episode of "Night Gallery" where an earwig crawled into a man's ear and it about drove him mad while it crawled through his brain and out the other ear. Well he was very relieved until he realized that the earwig was female and probably had laid her eggs in his brain. So the thought of all of those earwigs hatching and crawling around in his head was terrifying(no kidding!
) so he committed suicide. Anybody remember this episode? It creeped me out!

I'd truly kill myself if that happened with the earwig. :shudder:
I once had an ant in my ear, it crawled in my ear when I was asleep. I literally for over a year after that slept with cotton in my ears LOL |

Anyone hear the story from a few months ago about the guy from India who had a 5-inch worm removed from his eye?
