Glitch on DVD 2 of Season 5 set... - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hello all,

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I came across a glitch on the 2nd DVD of Season 5 set. In the special features section, in the production notes, there is mention of Jim Nabors not being accustomed to a live audience and how he accidentally spoke his lines while the crowd was still cheering his entrance. Lucille Ball, quickly thinking on her feet, asked him to repeat it again once the crowd quieted down. There is the option to play the scene. However, every time I've selected the "play" option, it doesn't play. It goes black as if it's trying to play the scene and then it skips to the arrow that's meant to go to the next screen. Has anyone noticed this on their set too or is mine the only one? Everything else plays fine on the disc so I don't think the DVD itself is defective. Not a big issue but I wanted to be sure nothing was wrong on my end.

What say any of you? Thanks in advance!

Hey Ed-

I was curious, so I went back and watched the episode, AND the production note, and mine plays fine. I guess you have a defective disc.
