Default Which is more tolerable to you...

The sweltering heat, or the bitter cold weather? I don't like either obviously, but my brother and I were discussing this the other day when the temperature got up to 102, and we both agreed, we prefer really cold weather, to really hot weather. I'd much rather live somewhere like Alaska than say, Florida. By really hot, I'm talking anywhere from 90 degrees and up, and by really cold, I'm talking 32 degrees and lower. It's alot easier to be warm in cold weather, then it is to get cool in hot weather. Put on a few sweaters, a heavy jacket, and a couple pairs of socks on each feet, and you can stay relatively warm, but you can't do that with the heat. Even if it were legal for you to chuck all your duds and go naked, in 90 degree heat and up, you will still be hot. It's far easier to combat the cold then it is the hot. Until they come up with air conditioned underwear, I think I will continue to prefer the cold. If you had to live in a place where it was bitter cold year round, or a place with scorching heat year round, which would you choose?

The cold - but the bad thing about it here in Ohio is that we all have to shovel it out of our driveways and cars, and then have to drive in it.

That's definitely understandeable. Typically, here in Oregon we have pretty mild Winter's compared to what you guys get in the Midwest. We get lots of rain, but usually not much snow.

I have always been hot blooded, which is partially why I can't stand the heat. My ex use to always like getting right up next to me when she was cold. Not because she found me irresistable, but because in her words, getting close to me was like getting close to a radiator. lol She definitely wasn't very fond of me in the Summertime!

The heat. I'm miserable when I'm cold. I live in the desert. Today it will be 112. Now that is hot.

I have been to MN in the winter. No thanks. Too cold. I would get cabin fever in the winter. I don't care for snow.

I much prefer the cold weather. I HATE summer. And I can't sleep in the miserable heat. I also get cranky.

I tolerate the cold better than the heat.

It's easier to stay warm than it is to keep cool (when you're outside).

That's the only part that I don't like about the winter. Other than that though, I definitely prefer the cold. I have a couple issues with breathing and the mixture of the allergies in the warm weather and the humidity gives me some problems sometimes.

I'm seriously thinking about moving from Ohio up to like Maine when I finish school. Alaska is a bit too much.

I prefer the heat. I can work outside when I'm sweating but I can't do a damn thing when I start to shiver.
